Summer vacation in Lofer
Salzburger Saalachtal Card
During the summer months (summer 2021: April 30 - November 6) we have the opportunity to provide our guests with the Salzburger Saalachtal Card. This card allows you to experience various adventures of the Salzbuger Saalachtal completely free of charge.

Almenwelt Lofer
The Saalach Valley offers its visitors a variety of hiking tours.
For every level of difficulty you can find a tour.
Some examples:

Ride with the cable car to the middle station, hike along the waterfall trail to the top station.
​

Ride with the cable car to the top station, hike to the top of the Grubhörndl (1747 m) and / or hike to the Marmorsee.
​

Full day tour: Start from our apartments to the Grubhörndl (1747 m).

Vorderkaserklamm
We recommend using the lower parking lot (don't forget your parking ticket) and hiking the 2km to the gorge.
Especially for children it is an experience. Numerous playgrounds, bathing places (with raft) and a few stories worth knowing can be explored along the way.
But also by bike (or e-bike) the gorge is very easy to reach, from our apartments it is only 9.2 km.
However, there is also parking directly in front of the gorge :-).

A few impressions:
Lamprechtshöhle
To the longest passage cave in the world it is 8.8 km from our apartments, so very easy to reach by bike.
With a total length of 56km, the Lamprechtshöhle is one of the largest cave systems in Europe. It is possible to book a guided tour or to explore on your own.

Seisenbergklamm
The second gorge which can be visited free of charge with the Saalachtal Card is located about 10 km from our apartments.
The parking spaces are well signposted and are located directly in front of the cozy Landgasthof Seisenbergklamm. The Kaiserschmarrn is highly recommended here :-).
